About The Editor
Sam Dakil graduated from NYU's Tisch Film Program when he was 21 years old, but he has loved editing videos from a very young age. Sam's first choice is to cut in Adobe Premiere but has plenty of experience with FCP 7, X, and Avid. In addition to straight, non-linear editing, he works in After Effects. Sam enjoys bringing a directors vision to the screen, and strives toward understanding and sculpting out the style each director brings to the project - best of all, he's very pleasant to work with! He has a good eye for continuity and loves finding creative solutions for bringing the best shots together. Sam currently lives in Manhattan with his miniature Dachshund, Ruby, who is (say something funny here.)
